New to Golf GTI
« on: 01 July 2004, 16:33 »
Hi, my name is Devin. I live in BC Canada and own a 1980 Rabbit (golf mk1) convertable and a 1981 Diesel Rabbit. I have a 84 GTI 1.8L motor swaped in to my convertable with a flowmaster kit and a cam. It also has a 85 convertable interor. It is a major project car that needs body work, but it is a sweet ride

^^ maybe, but naming a car after a fluffy animal that has a penchant for f*cking lots is no more gay than naming after a sport where fat old men hit balls around a field with a stupid stick, whilst wearing shorts tucked into knee-length socks, surely?

Hi, welcome to the site - soon to be re-named CabrioGTI.co.uk by the looks of things!. Try and get some pics of your motor up in the gallery, It would be nice to see what the differences are like across the other side of the pond, in tastes and styles.
