Horn problem?!
« on: 09 February 2009, 12:42 »
hi guys ive used the search function but its only half helped!!!!

right ive seen that i need to clean the contact behind the steering wheel which i will do anyway tonight when i get back from uni but when i tested the horn yesterday i could hear a clicking noise coming from the fuse box maybe  not sure where it was coming from.

ive checked fuses and what not but still no luck! it was working before i took the steering wheel off for maybe the millionth time but im hoping it is the contacts on the steering wheel

but im confused as to why there is another clicking noise

thanks in advance all the help is much appreciated

that will be the horn relay clicking. disconnect the horn and give it a 12v feed straight off the battery to check if it works

Is the horn working? If not, give the horn a smack. That may make it work again.
