dont want rubbing on my 17s so would it b better to get stiffer springs or stiffer shoks? and what would cost less?

Springs are what hold the weight of the car, the shocks dampen the blow.

You really need a kit........stiff springs on std shocks will make the ride
and std springs on stiff shocks will make the handling

yea will look for a kit, bin offered coilovers new for £500, any recommendations for full stifff kit
