funny enough ive got one like that too! was just wondering if anyone else had tried to make one? it doesnt look that difficult. ive pulled a circuit diagram off the net for a dark activated switch, but wanted to see if anyone acctually has a working version or would mine be the first?

realistically all you'd need to do is wire a light sensor, into the light switch wiring make a hole for the light senor in the dash just above the light switch, and then leave your light switch set to on

thats what i thought but its a bit more complicated once you start to think about it!! found a great curcuit that you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor and make it switchable off the ignition!  :P if your interested i have found a premanufactured curcuit costs about a fiver that should hopefully do the trick!

God people are so lazy these days :)  Pretty cool idea, although you might want to make it time delayed a bit so it doesn't flash your lights when you go under bridges etc ;)

I've been meaning to look into that, and something similar, but have been busy with exams! When a car comes towards you, it automatically dips your lights, etc... And the moisture sensor for wipers.
