Copper head gasket

had a Homer moment at work and made a guy a new head gasket for his bike, some old Bantam 50s thing.
Then i started thinking that i could make myself a custom gasket out of Hard copper, this made me think about stacked gaskets for superchargers etc.
What you all reckon?

Copper gaskets are used but its not just a simple cut out job!

All the appertures are turned so they compress. So its a very specialised operation.

Yeah, ive been thinking about that would base compression on std gasket and relieve to allow for good comp seal on all passages.
Got some 40rc berilyium copper as well which is super tough and good under load.
CNC mill at work is idle as well
Might give it a try as im going to strip the head down in april after the MOT to fit some new valves and a cam, all i need is a head drawing to start.

Why not use a quality head gasket?? most branded gaskets will out perform a home made gasket!! (unless you running high high boost!! unlikely with a supercharge conv!)

Just somthing to do really, im always skimming heads and twiddling with bits for people keeps the brain active.
