Right then,
The hatch plastic trim has two screws in it which need to be removed first. The screws are located in the handhold recesses. I then removed the two covers for the rear light bulb access to give me a bit more purchase on the boot trim. Pull off the bottom section of the lining first. It will take a bit of persuading but it will come. The plastic trim is held in place by around seven or eight metal clips and two plastic ones. These will pop out first rather than breaking the plastic trim.
Once the trim is off there are three screws holding the latch housing in place. Two of them are easily accessed, but the third is obscured by the wiper motor housing.
I pulled off the plastic cover for the washer jet on the wiper to protect it from damage before attempting to loosen off the wiper housing. The plastic cover for the washer jet simply needs pulling to the left - away from the wiper blade.
Once this was off I removed the electric connector for the wiper and then removed the three washer nuts that held the wiper assembly in place.
After the nuts are removed you can pull down on the motor arrangement and rotate the assembly through around 90 degrees. This will give you access to the last torq screw and then once that is off you can simply disconnect the latch electrically, turn the latch housing to one side and remove it.

Then as they say fitting is the opposite of removal
