window problem

my window wont go up, it comes up half way and then goes back down??

right, the later models have a safety fdeature to wind em down if they think you got your head stuck in the glass, is the window stiff at all?

erm seems normal not too lose or stiff.
is it possible to wind it up, if so how cause i cant see any handle or anything.

try holding the button down, or 'catching' the window as it starts to roll down again.  its possible the 1 touch system has come out of calibration.  Also i believe the MK3s can suffer from problems with regulator clips that hold the glass?

ive tryd both and none workes.  before it did this it used to do it but only every now and then and would come back up if i pressed it enough times but now only comes a quatre the way and goes back down.

thats the bit that moves the window up n down, its behind the door card.  if you take the door card off and watch the window while it tries to move, the problem may become obvious :)
