16V running hot?

Anyone know wot the correct oil temperature range for a 16Valver is.  Mine goes upto about 105/106 when im caining it, where as my m8s only goes to about 88/89.  He's had the head done on his though, so maybe thats why? ? ?

Our 16v used to run at around 96 and heavy driving etc... it would go up to about 108 so I think taht yorus is fine.

I don't think that they are always very accurate anyway but they give you an idea.

The 16v Limited runs at around 88 but goes up to 102

Have seen mine at 114, seems ok. Have noticed that if you look at the oil temp and switch the lights on it changes by a few degrees . As G6 said, how accurate are they?.
