Hey hey! Finally found a Mk1 forum! Ol?!  ;D

Have been looking for one for ages.. Oddly didn't look here though.. Seemingly the first place I should of perhaps!  ::) ::)

Well anyways, is nice to finally be here!

(1983 2.0 8v btw!)

Actually, 2b honest.. Ain't 100% sure what the engine is!! (except for running a bit rough!)  ::)

Help me out? No. starts with EX.. Is a thurrock big bore engine from Volkspares.. You know much about em?

Its probably a 2.0l Thurrock 8v, pushing out about 130BHP. Its one of the short listed engines I have for the conversion on my cab.

Cept I dunno where the actual block etc's taken from! Anyone know whats from what? Is it just a Mk3 jobbie?  ???

Not 100% sure, but it may well be an Audi lump, probably out of an 80 - I think it is a 3A.
