Just carrying on from my last set of questions. I took my car for a tune up but when the bloke went to adjust the idle screw, it had no thread left to turn and the car was idling at 1100. It should be just below 900 right? I took apart the whole thing, butterfly? Gave it a good clean with carb cleaner but this still didnt make a difference to the idle. Do i need to replace the whole thing? or is there a fix for this?
Is this a 1.8 16v top? I have a 2.0 16v engine but someone said it looks as though the bottom is from a 2.0 16v and the top from a 1.8 16v. Sorry about the picture, my digicam is playing up.

The following pipe is made from a cloth like material, can it be replaced with a rubber pipe? Or do i get another one like this, this one has a rip on the underside.
