What mods / touches??

Geting the bad boy resprayed so just wanna know what you think so far of my ideas...

Im after the 'elegant look' and am not going for the boy racer look.

Im getting the rear wash/wipe removed with the black sticky surround resprayed black (as original) This will make the car look standard to the normal eye

No bonnet or wing vents

G60 Arches

Colour coded mirrors (colour coded on the mirror housing and NOT the mirror base)

The back bumper is going to have the toe eye cover removed and blended in. also the exhaust cut out is going to be filled. I might be hiding the exhaust or go for a twin letterbox DTM backbox (one on each side)

slammed on my polished Porsche 90's

Going to de-badge the rear as its a bugger to clean with all those badges (might keep the VW sign   )

Very lightly smoked window tints.

rallye headlight conversion later on this year (abit pricey) :'(

This is abit scrambled but what do you guys think or suggest.

i want some of those for mine preferably, they  loook the dogs wen polished, how much you get em for?

smoothe everything!


if i was respraying my car i would,

smoothe the 3rd lump for window wiper arms (not used one)
smoothe scuttle in bonnet
smoothe sides (all fixings for arches and rub strips)
audi 80 handles
smoothe aerial hole in wing
debadge rear completely
smoothe the rear seams under the clusters

erm cant think of anything else

I forgot to mention,

The rear seems under the rear clusters might be going. and the spare wiper whole along with the ariel hole also.

Am thinking of geting the rear boot lock/strip thing removed too.

one other thing....Ive decided to keep the black arches black due to having such a tight driveway at the back (where he will be parked every night) so i would probably damage the paint till it peels off and looks tacky. Hence not geting them done

my next project is to try and totally smooth the bonnet. get rid of the crappy vents/ drains what ever they are.. anybody think of a reason why this shoudn't be done.?!? might try and source some rs turbo bonnet vents as well.

I'd get the bit around the rear window colour coded too, never understood why it had a black surround?! Definately smooth the front wiper and aeriel holes. Keep the rear wiper, and swap the single jet for a twin jet, keeps it clean then! Colour coded mirrors might look good, but thats up to you, you have to like it! I'm lucky my cars black, i need not bother colour coding  

As long as you don't go over the top, it should look cool!

Is it wise to fill the original vents? Could this be dangerous?

Where could i relocate my washer jets? mybe just have one of them?
