256mm rears

I can get a set of 256mm vented rear brakes for £100 + vat.  Reckon that's a good price?  Includes discs, callipers etc, second hand.

Depending on condition of the discs/pads, I'd say, yes. :undecided:

All I got from the guy is that they'd fit a mk4 Golf, and wouldn't be from an Audi  :drool:

Find out if they're 2 or 4WD, as if they're the latter, you'll need 6mm spacers. ;)

Looks like the guy won't have any trouble sourcing them from the correct car.  I won't be able to vouch for the quality of the pads or discs though I don't think.  Would prolly have to just buy some more.

i paid £110 for my VRS setup; then i bought new pads for approx £30
