Sorry tobe a noob - but I cant see any diffrences between this and the Ed30, except for the alloys........??

iirc It was offered with a different range of colours, the interior stitching is yellow instead of the ED30 red in addition to the different rims.

The seats have a different design too - tyre tread pattern!

The rear windows from the B pillar are dark tint as standard (option on ED30)

The tyres are Strictly Pirelli.

Other differences are already mentioned (alloys and stitching)

And they came with armrest and MFSW as standard (optional extras on the Ed30).

They came the armrest but not the MFSW as standard. The Pirelli did have darkened glass from the B pillar back which the Ed30 didn't...

Picked up my 58 Reg GTi Pirelli (Diamond Black) last Friday.

Traded in an 07 Reg Audi TT 2.0T for it. First impressions are excellent

The Pirelli has an MFSW, Ipod dock, elec folding mirrors, Manual etc

Not sure what was std spec and what was an extra

I believe there are less than 1,000 in the UK and these are the last Mk5 GTi's.

Will try and post some piccies once I figure out how to use this site.

Saw a pirelli, silver, 3 door a few days back. They look very similar to the ED30, and you have to know your cars to spot the differences - but I do much rather prefer the seat design in the Pirelli - looks cool!

I'm considering buying one of these Pirelli Editions.... they seem to be quite rare and offer the 230bhp engine which is pretty cool.

Current:

Tesla Model 3 Performance

Past:

2015/15 Golf GTD
2009/09 Golf GT TDI
2008/08 Golf GTi Edition 30
2002/52 Golf GTi 25th Anniversary
1997/P Golf GTi 20th Anniversary
