did a few track days best was coombe in the mitsi evo5 .........the fiesta was fun i was 18 and young and foolish........nothing like when i was a  20 yr old in my 450bhp 4x4 sapphire cosworth annilalating 100k porsches and ferraris! but was sooooooooooo funny tho!!

A car which needs rebuilding and breaks down loads, looks awful and has a shoddy interior but goes faster than a ferrari

or

a ferrari

I know which i would rather own (money no object of course)

Lewis hamilton could beat a ferrari in a 1.2 corsa if the ferrari driver was not very good!

what r u refering to the cosworth?? the saph was only 5years old when i bought it so wudnt say shoddy interior had totally mint black full recaro leather and wasnt always breaking down (if tuned/built correctly) and at 20 it was spot on lol........... i had abit of trouble with it as i tuned it until i got the £££ out and did it properly (MAD DEVELOPEMENTS rebuild)........im talking a good 12-13 years ago now there were virtually no japanese cars on the roads and the 'import craze' hadnt been thought off so cossies were the cars to have and big power ones gained massive respect in the day!! even to this day u cant beat the rear end squat of a well launched saph 2wd/4x4!
........ im not on here boasting or saying the cossie was better than a ferrari/porsche just it destroyed it in all areas when i came up against one that was up for a bit of fun!!!

Direct prices for dates so far >>>  http://www.donington-park.co.uk/track-days/track-zone-cars

I'd also try & look out (google) for companies which offer discounts etc.  Also, look for 'open pitlane' formats, where you can go on as often as you like, as opposed to 'sessioned' track days which are typically 1 x 20 min sessions per hour. :afro:

TBH i wouldnt mind having over 300bhp under me right foot in a FWD car. My Calibra was brilliant as it had equal length drive shafts, good rubber and stiff suspension so the wheel spin was minimum. I just like to see the picture on rich kids faces who drive scoobies n evo's when a FWD beast comes screaming past them.
