No, with the thinner gti pads and thicker gti discs they should go in your standard callipers.
Before you push the pistons back in the calliper, gently lift the rubbers and check and clean of any rust, wipe a small amount of break fluid under the rubber and push the pistons back, beware of excess fluid tipping out of master cylinder though.
Wrecks paint, and is a real bugger to get rid of if it does.
