Walk-me-home lights
« on: 24 January 2009, 13:38 »
Can these people disabled via VAGCOM and the lights just turn off when I lock the car rather than waiting 20 seconds before turning off? I dont have VACGOM to check if it can be done but Im sure someone at the Bristol meet next weekend will and will want some beer tokens.

Reason is its getting VERY tiresome. Whenever I go into the city I go via train and everyone gets to the car park at the same time and without fail everytime someone will shout at me "Oi mate, you left your lights on" and I feel like a twit trying to explain to them (who clearly doesnt care) that they are walk me home lights and will turn off in 20 seconds or so. I cant just ignore them so feel I have to explain.

OK then. Try locking, unlocking (without opening a door) and relocking. They should go straight off. Well, they do on mine.
