It called this kestral sim180, i read on detail forums and they seem to be ok (for the price!) and I will nosy on detailingworld or whatever the forums called.. What I need is advice on products I need!! It has 3 different pads (180mm if that makes a difference?) but i guess i need some liquid stuff?
I currently have
megs gold wash
meg's clay bar
meg's stage 1 & 2 paint cleaner & polish
autoglym polish (the one for dark cars)
and some meg's gold class wax
so what am i missing to give it some really good results!! and can i use some of the polishes i already have?

oh yeah i have chucked my sponge and silicon dryer thing away (should keep you clean people happy  :undecided:)

Second menzerna, the megs #80 and #83 are very good but i doubt its use on VW paint will be great!

Megs 80 and 83 are fine on VAG paint and will be far easier to work with this time of year (unless you're in a heated garage)

From doing a few cars menzerna is very easy to use on most paints, and requires much less work to break down. Also gives a much better result. I do like the megs #80 and #83 but i find my fav pad/polish combo usually has menz in it!

I used menzerna on a porsche and bmw (and 99 reg polo) with awesome results.

It did this

(i did the right side after 1 pass)

Right I best have a look at some of that meg's stuff.......Hopefully my knackered 18 year old paint will look that bit better soon?? (oh and I'm going to look at some video on that detailed forum about using it this weekend!)
Expect some photos tears soon!!

and conker that link certainly helped......I only paid £50 for it with 3 pads!! (bargain looking at that?)

I just bought the Kestrel DA one. The only negative i've heard is the lead isn't long enough but a thread on DW shows you how to extendit for about £3.
