I bought a set from there I know they were Philips ones but not sure what they were. I *think* they were the first ones.

i'd question the legality of the second set as at 4000K they are starting to become more blue and white, and  the fact the x-treme state they are road legal and the others don't.

I'm sure I put the feelers out about these two types of bulb just before Xmas. Main reason was because powerbulbs would send the blue vision sidelights for free, so why not get the blue vision main beam as well so everything matched?

I got a mixed response I think, and most people opted for the first set (non blue vision)

I didn't bother upgrading in the end which I now regret!!! Still on my list to do though.

Oh and I'm pretty sure powerbulbs have a disclaimer somewhere saying everything they sell is road legal in the UK I think? Will try and verify that!

If you don't care about a blue tint, and like a white light, get yourself down to a motor factors. OSRAM Nightbreaker, awesome lights. We got some, miles better lights, don't even need full beam where full beam was lacking before.

Miles whiter, can see everything clearly. This is in a Chrysler Grand Voyager, which headlights are absolute sh!t. Makes them so much safer. The Golf would be superb with them in.

Cost around £20.

hey,

I bought a full set of bulbs 3 weeks ago from power bulbs. Main beam, Sidelights and indicators.

I wanted to get rid of the yellow bulbs in my side lights and try and match my xenons so i orderd blue visions http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=25

the sidelights asre not as white as i had hoped, and i wouldnt say they are really that blue either. they are not as white as my xenons (factory fit) and still have the slightest of slight yellow tints to them. but a lot better than standard.

the main beams are lovely and bright white though.

and the indicators look rubbish because they are too white!

I was thinking about xtream power and kinda wish i had bought some of them as well to test.

i changed my sidelights before xmas (factory fit xenons too) they looks like

they are these if you're interested

don't suppose you've got a pic of your full beam in action have you?
