when fitting coilovers ....

hello i just bought a second hand kit of coilovers  fk ones .....

when fitting them should i use the original top mounts or should they come wit new ones

does it matter if i use the old ones etc
-  Black Golf Gti 2.0 mk4  -  Private plate  -  Black Blue Colour Concept recaro leather interior  - gti badge done with a blue ' i ' to match interior  -  R32 spoiler  - 25th Anni front splitter  -  fk highsport coilovers  -   18" nouvo black diamond cut  -

best for peace of mind to buy new Strut tops and bearings mate.

just be careful when tightening the nut on the strut as you dont want to split the bearing with over tightening.

Useful link here aswell mate. Go below 40mm lowering and you'll need to upgrade your Anti roll bar

ittalkks about buying new bolts that  hold the shocks isit worth doin thm or doesnt it really matter ?

I used the original bolts that attached the shocker to the leg. Just clean them up once you remove them with a wire wheel and put abit of grease on them when refitting.
