Which FMIC?
« on: 20 January 2009, 01:28 »
As above.. any recommendations?
Which is good for the 1.8t..
I was looking at this: http://www.treadstoneperformance.com/product.phtml?p=29&phot_key=477 but it doesnt come with pipes..
I heard the forge intercooler is good but quite pricey..
Any ideas?

You don't need anything that big unless you're planning on whacking a HUUUUGE turbo on your car, you can get them off ebay for about a ton, then make your own boost pipes up.. or if you just want a fit&forget bolt on kit then go for forge.

nah intercoolers are pretty standard stuff, almost any fmic will be better than the standard thing with plastic end tanks.. the trick is to find one that will bolt up behind the bumper without having to cut any plastic or the crash bar.
