Crazy idea for my MK2
« on: 22 June 2004, 16:05 »
Now, I don't have the money yet but I will spend around 5K - 8K on a mental conversion. I am considering something, well different 8)

idea 1 - A BMW powered lump using the 330 not sure if it is possible or what costs are, but sounds good.

idea 2 - A Scooby Impretza Lump turbo'd and fast as feck.

idea 3 - A RS4 Lump, stonkingly kwik!

Ok, it all comes down to money and I am sure it will take me 2 years to do save something decent, but I have set up a fund for the job.

Dizzie has inspired me to do something different.

Yup a crazy idea !  ;) I might be wrong but I'd say it's gonna cost you more than 8k to go for any of those options if they are at all feasible in the first place. Good luck though matey  ;D
......now officially dubless.

No, the new vr6s are aluminium, so much lighter than the old cast iron blocks.
 ;)

Yeah!
Without a turbo, the engine would be good for 300bhp with a few mods and a chip  ;)
