Was this kind of Gear Knob an ORIGINAL option for the MKII Golf??????



or was it just the ''golf ball''?

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

also std on G60s :)
edit: you also got the nasty plastic/rubber ones, those were std fit on most later MK2s.  The leather ones were only on the more special models :)

The gear knob in my Mk5 is probably the nicest feel of any that i have had, im tempted to get one for my Mk2, im sure i could get it to fit......eventually  :laugh:

Lol i quite like the rubbery tackiness of the std golf 'ball'. Although my just spins round both ways

Dont know how much but i have one of those in mine. I thought it was a standard in later spec 16V's like mine. Good gear knob tho. :smiley:
