Hi everyone,

Apologies first of all as I have no search facility as I am using my blackberry and will not have access to a PC for a while.

I am trying to keep my car as original as possible and so far have had the following done.

Full service
Replaced Dizzy and HT Leads
Replaced all shocks and springs (car now nice and high!)
Car booked in today to have some surface rust treated and resprayed

My two questions are.

Has anyone recently used a company that can replace the fabric on the drivers seat, located in the south east, preferably Kent? I have a mint rear bench which has enough fabric to make the repair.

Secondly, has anyone used a professional rustproofing company in the Southeast and could make some recomendations?

Again, I apologise if these questions have been asked before, just lack of search facility at the moment.

Cheers
Stuart

Coachworks cost a small fortune, about £50 for a bolster repair when I had my Peugeot done.

Bonus with the Golf, you can pick up a full good condition interior for the same price ;)
