Anyone want a FREE induction filter?
« on: 18 January 2009, 23:26 »
We picked up the girlfriends new Mk4 Golf today. She loves it. The only thing she dosn't like is that it has an induction filter installed. Too much noise apparently, i'd be fine with it - but i'd rather not put up with the moaning i would get if it stays installed!

Free to anyone that want's to exchange it with an original standard induction box?

Not sure on the make, i'll have a look tomorrow, and can take some pics. Its something like the pipercross type. It looks in excellent condition.

I live in Wigan and work in Warrington and would prefer collection/swap.

Any Q's please e-mail me or PM me on here. andyrigby06@yahoo.co.uk

Hi guys, Jonny - don't think the PM's are working at my end mate, can you please e-mail me?

The engine on her GTI is the NA 1.8 20v.

Thanks Andy

Stick some pictures up, should be able to tell you if it's suitable for the turbo engine

Hi Jonny, replied to your e-mail. Weather was really bad here when I got home so no pics unfortunately. I'll take the Golf to work tomorrow and read if anything is written on the filter and get some pics over.

Thanks Andy
