what button(s) do i press

as u guys no put the standard radio/cd player in today. Wud nt recode its self. So tried 2 online radio codes they didnt work. Problem is now it just says safe with a little 2 in bottom left corner. Does any1 know what button or buttons i press to get it back to the code screen. Ie 1000. I am guna get propa code tomorrow from vw. Please help if u can its doin my nut in lol. Cheers guys

if you have input the wrong code too many time safe appears and it locks it totally usually for 4 hours or so

ok here comes the bad news you cant press no buttons to reset the radio back to 1000 the only way to do it is leave the radio switched on for over 1 hour and it will reset itself then get the code and input it tommrow from vw.
If your buying im selling!!!!!!!

ignition off or on just the unit must remain on other wise the timer resets

well just checked radio and its come out of safe mode and bk to the code entry screen ready for when i go get code from vw tmra. Cheers fatty b

Probably a pointless remark but.....is it the original stereo that was fitted in your car???

If so, when you start the car with the radio on it will do the rest for you...
