I get ~23mpg on a daily commute of 5 miles in each direction with medium to heavy traffic.  Depressingly the trip computer shows my average speed for the journey as ~17mph  :embarassed:

I got to say Im horrified at some of the reported mpg's on here. Since my first service a couple of weeks back I have noticed a considerable increase in mpg. Now that I have taken a conservative effort to calm down my driving I am seeing an easy 31mpg on a 16mile round trip to and from work with a cold start.

Im not saying that this is what you will get if you drive an R32... just whats possible if you drive a little smarter.

(did only see 21mpg on the way home last night though )

Its very hard to compare MPG as its varies so much depending on how the individual drives and the roads they are driving on (i.e big hill, small hills, no hills)

i drive 8 miles to work on a mixture of 30mph and bypass (60!?) mph and i never see less than 28 29 on the way to work, however on the way home i often see 32 33? same roads, traffic similar. weird!
My average on the obc is 29.8 and lead foot gets his way 9/10!!

The weather is probably to blame, cold wet and windy conditions can knock as much as 20 percent off average MPG.

Loyal owner since 2005, done with remapping, I drive a Golf not a Veyron. (hypocrite)
