Strange sound
« on: 16 January 2009, 08:29 »
Hi all,

I drive a DSG ED30 and i have recently noticed that when i am stationary and then move off slowly (not pressing the gas, just releasing the brake pedal) i can hear what sounds like a liquid being thrashed by something. I know that is a really vague description but the sound is very faint and i do not know how else to describe it.

I have only just noticed it so thought i would mention it on here and see if anyone knew what it was? Or could suggest what it might be?

Cheers,

Tom

Is it an automatic gearbox? or use an torque convertor?   they work by pumping hydralic fluid which could be making a noise?!? :undecided:
