Agreed Slick. 1st rule of tuning - if you wanna build a fast car, start with a quick one in the first place...  :rolleyes:

PS I drive an 8v Mk3 but I'm not into tuning. Still want more poooowwwwwwwwwerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr though!

Point. I dunno, its a nice dream but 4k is a lot of money to spend on it. Although if an engine comes up, it might get added to my collection, with the tt comps and various mk3 parts, hah!

exactly, but i prefer my mk3 to the mk4... i dunno. I will probs just stay on plan and get a mk3 16v. If i can eventually find a 3 door black that meets my requirements, eg no dents n rust!
