Spoiler and spraying the bottom of bumpers

Recently bought a GTI in silver.  I am going to look into putting a rear roof spoiler on, probably the original one with the cutout in.  Cant seem to find an original one anywhere online? Or am i better going to a bodyshop or a dealer?  I would take it to the bodyshop to get spayed and fitted. Which leads me to the black bits along the bottom of the front and back bumpers has anyone got these sprayed in silver and got any pics?

genuine spoilers are really hard to find and really expensive, your best bet is the dealers ~ £200 or a breakers yard or ebay, what ever you decide to do, don't buy a copy one

lol i've tried and it's really in there, need a hot air gun or something to remove it.

Lighter fluid will shift it.......just don't smoke or anything whilst your doing it, or your golf might make a "Woof" sound.

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

Got to do it when its warmer out, or spend time getting it warm.  They can be a proper ball ache when cold, just wait for the warmer weather and it'll be out in seconds.

I used my GF's to remove the badges on the back of my mates Golf, she used it after and it blew up into a smokey mess.
