Front Quater Pannel mk2 golf

Hi just wondering if you could help me , i have seen on ebay i think it was a shop where they wood sell the mk2 golf quater pannel with the mercedes sprinter vented bits put in has anyone got one of these for sale or know where i could buy either a pre made one or a sprinter quater pannel with this in ?


i check ebay and people breaking sprinter want around £40 i just want something bit cheaper ,

Those vents are very similar to early Metro bonnet vents, could be worth having a look...

If you're feeling brave you can mask off and cut out a vent using a small cutting disc or drill a pilot hole and get busy with the jigsaw. File down the edges, primer, coat of your body colour and bob, is your mothers brother, wing ventage. Did it on my mates mk1 mini, looked mint and noone else had one like it. Failing that get one from the scrappies to experiment on before attacking your bodywork.

you used to be able to buy a pattern weld in panel for them

I think it's venom motorsport do 2 versions of wing vent.

i got my sprinter vent from venom cost about £25

Dont do this!!! my corrado had this done by previous owner and the whole things warped and gone a funny shape! its like the metal expanded or something, i'll get a pic up if i can, looks mint until you get a really hot day or a really cold day!

Hmmmn, sounds bit weird. It shouldn't be a problem if you do it right, dunno what's happened to your wing mate but I'd say that this is not the norm. I've done my fair share of body mods, painting etc and never come across anything like that.
