Tyres
« on: 13 January 2009, 09:38 »
Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend some decent tyres and advise on how much they will cost?

I only will really use them doing "every day stuff" (for example my commute to work) but i think the ones i currently have are borderline legal now.

Lastly can does anyone know where i can get them/have them fitted in Thames Valley Area?

Sorry for all the questions but i am quite new to the whole VW scene!

Cheers,

Tom

Asymmetrics have changed my car in all respects, try blackcircles, just be careful who fits and watch out for damage to your precious alloys :-)

Let the fun begin........Red Gti, full colour coding, DSG, Xenons, Winter pack, Lux pack, Highline, Sat Nav, Sunroof, Leather, Milltek, ABT rear valance, Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics....pescaras :-)

An interesting discussion with our fleet insurance salesman this morning.. apparently fitting any tyre brand/model/size other than what was originally supplied on the vehicle voids the insurance. Probably isn't the same with all insurance companies but worth a phonecall to check.

Putting 200+ bhp through front tyres needs the best available, so F1 assymetric's for me, although I'd be very tempted with vredestien sessantas of the price was right
