Ed 30 brake upgrades
« on: 12 January 2009, 21:20 »
Hi guys just lookin to see if any 1 has upgraded there brakes either r32 or brembo,Tarox?

Reason I ask I have the chance of getting a pair of Porsche 997 front calipers  from a mate at a reasonable price there in mint condition, pads are near enough new due to the donor vehicle only doing 300miles from lst service then ending up written off!  The only thing I would need to get is new disc's either 345mm's or run the standard 312's

you'll need caliper carriers too, they won't bolt straight on

Keith - I'm seriously considering the Porsche brake upgrade my mate said the only thing i'd need is sum sort of adpter?! Failing that it could be R32 instead   Don't have any info on the porker as he bought the brakes from a mate threw the Vauxhall club he's putting the rears onto the front of his gsi v6 vectra

Hurdy - Thanks for the pics nearly bought the Tarox's a few months ago when they had the offer on for the 6 pots and when did you get the Td's?
