What size are these wheels (Scene tax is added)
« on: 12 January 2009, 13:15 »
TT Comps. Are they 16 or 17? and how wide? What tyre size should i look to get on them. Dont want to be stretched or buldgy, just tight with a small bit of stretch to tuck into the arch, but nothing stupidly dangerous. Thought it was time to put them to use as they have been sittin about for a few months now

Cheers

17 by 7.5 I think. Certainly 17, not sure about width.

What tyre width is good for a 7.5 wide wheel? 205's?

with a 195/40/17 your gonna get some stretch

if you want zero stretch it would be 205/40/17 you need

Cheers :) Can only find 2 types of tyre in 195/40/17. Guess i would have to use 205's to get a good set of tyres :(
