What i did like about old top gear was people like that goffy bloke!!

For all mk3 haters http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5LBxq1pQNCI&feature=related here's his test of the XR3i mk5 and the golf gti 8v in which he claims about the mk3 "it hasn't lost any of the handling or feel of the old mk1"

so the reason the mk3 8v has no torque steer is because it has trick new suspension is it? not because of its tortoise like acceleration then

Stained blue zip tops were the bomb back in '92.

Quentin looked old even when he wasn't!

Superb video! Even Mr BRM.

i have 2 pet tortoises and for your information they are actually pretty quick when you dangle a lettuce leaf infront of them. . . . much faster than a 8v mk3 anyway

Blimey that does take me back

Cambelt change at 60k, that means my first cambelt change will be due within the next thousand miles (59k original).

I'd best get saving then......

Feel old now

Did you know.........? that Quentin Wilson, with his wise words of advice about buying used cars and what to look out for and how to tell whether a car had been clocked or not, once got prosecuted for.........................................

clocking a car! Strange, but true. (Allegedly)
