Need insurance but dont want to pay a deposit!!

As above,my insurance is due for renewal in a couple of weeks and the company im with want me to pay a deposit up front for renewal,and to put it bluntly,im skint!! Does anyone know of a company that you can just start paying the monthly instalments to??Cheers.

On my new policies the depoit has only been £30 or more than the initial payment.

Oh really,ive not properely looked into it yet but the company i was with wanted another £120.cheers for the reply,i'll have a look round!

for a renewal i dont see why they take a deposit TBH - but thats what they do..

dont know the ins & outs as i just pay upfront, the only thing i do remember is crippling APR on monthly instalments hence paying in a lump sum

never paid a deposit for a renewal!! only when i first took the policy out!


and i pay it monthly with the sh!te APR added,  :sad:

Some companies let you pay in 3 installments with no APR.

Phone the company and make sure that's what they want - you may find that you've been sent the wrong wording on your paperwork. It does happen from time to time  :smiley:
