So i started rubing it back with a bit of rele coarse sand paper, and i then filled the small holes with a bit of Polyfilla (Domestic) i know this isn't ideal but i am quite short of cash atm, so this is what it looks like atm

Dont use household pollyfiler! its water based! It will draw water, and accelerate the rusting process again, a small tube of body filler will cost you the price of a pint! check out my "How to deal with rust" thread on this page, I put in plenty of useful tips, than can be adapted to use with aerosols, using the correct products IS everything,
Tom

You can get cheap body filler from Wilkinsons in the car section or Halfords mate

it isn't a water based filler.
