ahoy there! I'm chris (aka mushy) 28 and I've just joined the watercooled scene! :rolleyes:

I've just sold my old vw bus:





and got myself a more sensible city car - a '98 mk3 GTI with just 64k :cool:

haven't actually got my hands on the car yet, it's at me dads until I get the tax sorted (monday hopefully) and a parking permit for my street here in Norwich - hopefully I'll post some pics when I have given her a clean and some TLC :)

she's a dragon green 5 door and pretty mint - I am dead chuffed with her :)

anyway - hello!! :)

one of the things that made me sad 'bout selling the bus was all the great people I met through owning it - seems the watercooled crowd are just as friendly :)

now sporting a tax disc and at mine :)
shame it's sooo cold - was hoping to give her a clean but no chance in this weather!! :rolleyes:
her she is:-





very pleased with her :) (pictures from phone - so apologies for quality)

not much future plans really - want to tidy her up, make her shiny clean, and get some new tyres and replace front windscreen for her mot in may (if not repairable - stone chips)
would love some of the dubmeister plates and a stainless exhaust but that's it really :)
