I went for the diamond black. Love it but it's an arse to keep clean. I've seen the steel grey in flesh and it looks gorgeous and some of the silver motors round here look lush too.

Its all about the noise for me!! Diesels just sound crap end of story, and the torque arriving all together wears thin after 30 mins..

True car lovers go for petrol IMO.

The way petrol prices are going   as well its unleaded all the way for me...

thanks man. i,ll watch that again and again!

i cant beleive prices vary so much based on almost purely the colour!
almost identical cars but the black seems more expensive, due to popular demand i presume??

think its black but i do like the grey, just had silver cars last two so its gotta be differnet this time around methinks :undecided:

Before I bought the GTI (Edition 30 variant) I had a GTTDI 140 and believe me when I say that there is a world of difference between them. The GTI is a proper hot hatch. The TDI is good and no mistake, it just doesn't get the old juices flowing like the GTI does. I'm *cough* 44 years old and have had my car for nearly 2 years now and it still gives me a tingle of excitement every time I get into her
