Well i woke up today to a very nice surprise...






The gloss black effect is beautiful...

I fitted 4 new tires, Viking ProTec 2s plus 4 new VW center caps


My xmas present to myself  :smiley:

Stunning!! They really suit the car - The black inserts do make the wheel appear larger and IN MY OPINION there's only one wheel a Mk5 GTI should have and that's Monza's.

Where did you get them?

EDIT: Having said that, I can see from Komenda's sig pic that his wheels probably suit his bodywork mods better than a Monza would.

They do make them look larger as the polished effect against the black makes them stand out more

i got them from ebay for £375 best offer, in my opinion an absolute bargain as they are refurbished to a very high standard


now i just gota find some alloy cleaner that wont mess the polished effect and will protect them through the winter, any ideas???

i'd get some Poorboys wheel sealant on them - give it a couple of coats - then use your normal car wash shampoo to wash off the dirt  :smiley: 

the wheel sealant will stop the dirt sticking to the wheels so a quick wipe with your wash mitt should remove the dirt very easily  :smiley:
