T-Cutting
« on: 17 December 2008, 16:19 »
Is it worth it? I've got alot of white dashes of paint that have flakes off, especially on my drivers door and over various other parts of the body. I want them green lol!

If it helps or means anything I do wash, paint clean, polish and wax my car.

Explain your question again, you have white paint marks on a green car?

I think I've misunderstood what T-Cutting is.

Someone explain for me. And would anyone be able to tell me how to get the white bits off or covered up on my paintwork?

T-cut is a product, like a mildly abrasive 'polish' that makes your elbows hurt.

G3 is a cutting compound which takes a few microns of paint off to make the surface smooth again.

It sounds like stone chips through to the primer? Is if definitely on top of the paint, or through the paint?

It's through the paint, and thank you for explaining T-Cutting :)
