Newbie - bought my MKII today!

Hi guys,

Thought that i would introduce myself. I'm Alex, 25 and from Kent. Currentyl drive a heavily modded Land Rover as my daily driver and have a 2002 BMW M5 that is modified that i use to go to the Nurburgring in.

Recent TotalBMW feature

















I'm currently on the lookout for either a MkI,II or III Golf to turn into a track car for Nurburgring fun and UK tracks as my M5 is too loud for UK track use.

I missed out on a MkI GTI today with FSH and a blown engine that was going for £100 ono. I'm gutted. I also work for VW

Thanks. I think that i wil have more fun in a Golf than the M5 on the track. I worry about binning the M5 everytime i am there. I think that a lot of people could drive a powerful car round a track with traction control on and do pretty well. I want to go round with no assistance and have and feel like i have more control of the car.

I could also buy and build a Golf track car for the same price as a rear big brake kit for the M5!

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

Brands Hatch massive. MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTED!

Some pics of the Land Rover from my Land Rover World Feature in June 2007. So far i have added remote control air suspension, tv/dvd player, quad exhaust, and some other little bits including a lot of lights. The last mod i did to it was to add a new horn. This came from an American freight train  :nerd:
