Hi folks,
Just obtained a 8v GTI which has an early Mk2/Mk1 K-jet engine. I've noticed that there is a connector and two studs without any wires going to them just adjacent to the left of the oil filter/distributor cap. According to my trusty Haynes manual its the warm-up valve. What exactly does this do and how is my car affected by not having any wires to it?
