It's been argued before but here goes. Don't waste your money with an inductiuon kit on a valver. Just drill the bottom of the airbox on the side facing the wing and on the front and run a K&N panel filter. It will give you the same results for about 1/3 the money. You lose the pub bragging rights but you have about 50 quid richer to buy the pints with  ;D Thats all I have done with my valver. I tried a piper corss induction kit that my mate had lying about and noticed zero difference between it and my drilledf airbox except the cost.

Piper make an induction kit for 16valvers it costs ?89. The cheapest way is to take off the big blanking plate of the innerwing side of the airbox it will take about 10 mins work. Then all you have to do then is take it down the road with your foot flat down on the pedal and you will get a superb sound. Cost ?0.00 and you  can put it back on if you want to.

You can just not like we would call one. no cone filter or anything. There is a company out there that makes one but it is about 170 quid. not worth it.

Depends on the maker. I have a Sebring system on mine. Fit isn't all that but it definatly sounds throaty. A bit loaud at times though. Not impressed with it much actually. I'm thinking of replacing it with a magnex system before long though.

that sounds like my DTM then.

Deep when at engine idle,
Quiet when crusing,
Loud on motorways!

It gives you a headache after a while :-\
I dont have the make of the DTM sorry but get a full stainless ehaust system if your after that roar noise.
