After many running problems with my k jet conversion i have decided to replace the whole loom. The car was originally a digifant. I am planning on fitting a comlete K jet wiring loom.
All the old wires are almost out so looking quite bare.
How easy or is it to fit?
Or how much would it cost for someone to fit it for me?
Please help

inside etc is all fairly easy once you have the seats, carpets and trims out

engine loom reqs the servo to be taken out as the loom goes behind it

Sounds pretty straight forward.
Seats, and carpets are already out.

How do i get the dash out?
There seems to be a few hidden ones that i cant see.

Quick question, why did you switch from digifant to k-jet.

dash is held in with 2 bolts either side, 2 bolts underneath either side of centre console, and 2 nuts under the plastic scuttle cover in engine bay.  You need to take the dash switches/blanks out, heater knobs & panel, plastic switch/clocks surround, clocks then finally the dash will come away.  Take care dragging it forward, there is some wiring loom clipped above the fusebox, the glovebox light will be attached if it has one plus dash speakers if any are fitted.

Cheers guys.
Reason for doing the conversion is that my old k jet golf was a 2.0l with a 4+e gearbox and i had to scrap it. So i thought it would be a cool idea to swap it over. A bit different from the norm + i didn't want to spend loads o money re mapping the digi ecu.

To be honest the digi system would have coped ok with the 2.0, it has a higher limit than k-jet which can be very limited at higher revs in terms of air flow of fuel delivery.
