Somethings Not right

Your crank sensor might be on its way out ... my car did this and eventually ended up starting and then stalling straight away because it couldnt hold its revs.

I spent nearly a grand changing EVERYTHING ... and in the end it was the crank sensor.

interesting stuff, my 16v seems a little lumpy on idle, not sure wether they are like that anyway but i am going to check out the earths you mentioned anyway..  cheers.

Shouldn't be lumpy ...

Should idle just over 1,000 revs and as soon as its warmed up a little it should sit nicely below 1,000 revs like any other car ...
