....

OK topher, now you've bothered to explain, your action is much more understandable and helps restore some respect for your actions.

However, as we have learnt something by this, perhaps you might learn that a little diplomacy and communication goes a long way. You raised people's backs by a complete lack of subtlety - You gain more with honey than with vinegar.

Agreed, reading between Topher's posts, I could see where he was coming from (to an extent), but the way in which it was handled wasn't the most tactful

No, but it will be locked

If you can see beyond the sarcasm and arrogance I'm actually a very methodical person, especially when it comes to this place  Nothing I do here will ever be 'just because I felt like it'. Subtle? Tactful? Makes for far less interesting discussions

I'll leave you with a copy of the original pm'd instruction to John and Steve so that you can see there are no hidden agendas.

arrfternoon chaps, hope all is well.

I think we need to start shifting some topics around in MK5 land before it becomes a chat-nonsense section all of its own and all the useful/relevant stuff gets lost.

These two were pointed out to me earlier

I think the problem is most of the guys are so used to chatting away they don't realise its in the wrong place. Point being (although just between us) we're looking at possible sponsors for the mk5 section (you might have seen recently machinemart sponsor the garage, rtech the remaps, bahn brenner motorsport the mk2 section etc..) and it doesn't bode well if potential sponsors click in there and see lots of unrelated topics. If anyone gives you any grief for moving stuff (i.e joe  ) feel free to blame it on me!

toph.

Further topics on the matter will be deleted without question. PM's are the way forward if anyone is unclear on the situation.
