Yea i was thinking that! Been in touch with spax and they want £250 per shock! 

So not sure what to do about that really! Tempted to get a complete new set of coilies such as the hot tuning group buy ones?

What do people think? bearing in mind im skint as f*ck atm!

Thats what i thought as it seems its just the seal thats gone??

The bloke i spoke to from spax said that i cant go directly to them. it would need to be through one of their dealers in the UK. However i dont have a reciept or anything as the setup was on the car when i bought it.. plus i need my car for transport to work as its a good 20 miles from where i live, and if im gunna be sending the shock off then i will need something to replace it with.

Im going to get back in touch with spax now and see what i can do

yeah there is the small problem of having no shocks up front
if it was me id try to find a cheap 40mm complete lowering kit and throw that on for the time being, then see about rebuilding.

Well ive just emailed blokey at spax again asking if i could get in touch with a distributor in my local area and get them to repair it.. so just waiting on him to get back to me and take it from there i suppose..

Just for reference ive spoken to spax again today and they say because there is no way of finding out how old the coilies are then they are unable to repair my shock - c*nts!

Looks like its time to join in on this hot tuning group buy then as i cant justify spending £250 on 1 shock when i can get a full new coilover kit for £150!
