Has anyone here got a foolproof method for checking for vac leaks. I'm pretty sure that my popping overrun and slight 'cough' on hard acceleration is down to this. I had similar niggles with my vr6, but in both cases the pipes all look ok, new even. Would a lack of back pressure at the exhaust cause this?
Also, while I'm at it... I'm in the market for a rainbow drivers seat (vgc) as my reconditioned one was done on the cheap I reckon.
