How loose is eveyones engine if i hold mine firmly i can move it but it does require a bit of force?  ::)

probably due to an engine mount. mine could be moved but took abit of force..nakkerd front mount, so i changed it.

Does your car shake at idle?

Not massively!  ??? recon i could be a mount cos you can feel it move when u accelerate and my exhaust keeps coming loose!

I had an annoying 'banging/tapping' noise when the front mount was gone.

lift the bonnet of your car, then sit in the car and start it

put the car in reverse and lift off the clutch a little - you will be to see any movement engine bay thru the gap at the bottom of the bonnet

do in first gear also

engine mounts are relativly cheap to buy & replace
