Best way to take trim off?
« on: 07 May 2008, 21:34 »
Installing amp and sub tomorrow finally! LOL! Just want to know the easiest way to take the trim of around the doors (as I take it that's where you place all the wires?).

Any how tos would be great as well.

Thanks

It's a mk3 btw.

Cheers

Theres two screws you need to undo and then you will be able to get under there no problem. The first one is located around the seatbelt area of your front seats and the other is located under the dash/on the side by your feet. Have a look around. These two screws seem to hold the secret to getting those wires tucked in nicely. Can then take the wires under your back seats into your boot.

^^ exactly what he said

just make sure you have the power cable on the passenger side, and the phonos etc on the drivers side, or vise versa depending on where your battery grommet is
